A Cut and Dye affair !
To mark the 22nd anniversary of the launch of Essop Khan and Mahomed Alli's collaboration as EkMa Productions , a brand new play, "Cut and Dye", touches on a host of subjects affecting the South African community.
"Cut and Dye" is based in a hairdressing salon and highlights the trials and tribulations of the people who frequent the establishment Savy Ramsamy plays the hairdresser, a slick , wise woman who knows how to survive in a city where people live o their wits.
Essop khan is the long suffering landlord who battles to collect his rentals but has a sharp mind, and also seeks a romance which goes against social convention.
