Farhan and Deepika romance in the rain

Karthik Calling Karthik' which stars the unusual pair of Farhan Akhtar and gorgeous Deepika Padukone in the lead also marks the debut of writer-director Vijay Lalwani.

Speaking on the scene Vijay explains, "We shot the entire film as per the script, expect one scene which I had to re-write. The scene was when Farhan Akhtar was to propose Deepika Padukone; it was a very integral part of the film."
