Accidents mar weekend
Gloom and tragedy reigned after two car accidents, in which a driver lost his life and another watched his vehicle burn to a shell , occurred at the weekend.
in the first incident, a 23 year old Chatsworth motorist frove into oncoming traffic and then watched helplessly as his van burst into flames in Bellair late on Saturday night.
The fire department was present at the scene. Inspector Derrick Freddy Vidjim, communications officer of Bellair SAPS , said, " The driver was a Indian male. he was travelling from Malvern into Bellair when he lost lost control and veered into oncoming traffic.
