Amair, Kareena to video chat with fans

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan excels at innovative promotion for his films and this time the star has taken the internet route to pitch his forthcoming film "3 Idiots" - where the film's star cast will video chat with fans on the web.

Film producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, director Rajkumar Hirani, other technicians and actors, including Kareena Kapoor, Sharman Joshi, R. Madhavan and Boman Irani alongside Aamir, will have a visual chat with the masses, after releasing the music of the film on the internet.

"We are launching the music of '3i' ('Three Idiots') on the 9th of November, but for the first time this is happening on the Internet...

Surprises for Kareena

Kareena Kapoor had two great birthday surprises this year. The first was when Aamir Khan postponed their shoot for 3 Idiots from September 21 to 25 and then it got better when beau Saif Ali Khan flew in her mom and close friends to Udaipur where she was shooting for a magazine cover.

Bebo was in Rajasthan on Saturday for a shoot and was to return later in the day. But that evening, Saif flew in and booked them into the Udai Vilas Palace Hotel.Then on Sunday night, he surprised her further by flying in her best friend Reena, her designer Shabina Khan, some other close friends and her mom Babita to bring in her birthday.

Scared of Kareena and Kajol, John opts out!

John reluctantly but firmly said no to Karan’s offer to play the male lead in the desi version of Chris Columbus’s Stepmom.

Karan had given John a big break in Kaal a few years ago. And nobody can deny the recent Dharma dhamaka Dostana was a turning-point for John’s career.

First Saif, then John was approached to play the lead opposite Kajol and Kareena Kapoor in the desi version of Stepmom.John almost agreed then opted out.
